We all write content keeping certain goals in mind. To meet these goals, investing required time and effort and creating niche content helps. When you choose the easy way and write poor content, it will ultimately take you nowhere. Authentic and original content helps your site get more exposure. Whether your content is for business purpose or a personal blog, it’s important to write it right. Let’s look at some actionable tips that can help you get your content right.

Original Content is Timeless

By all means, we can learn from any available source. But copy pasting it as it is an offense to the original writer and this will not take us anywhere. Taking this thought a little further, we should also consider sharing original ideas because original comes from originality. Thinking and sharing your own opinion can help change existing trends.  Hence, speak your heart out in the guise of original and constructive content.

From business point of view, Google has made it clear that that they will penalize sites with duplicate content, which means they are looking for association with high quality sites that contain original content. It’s evident that original and niche content has a long life with Google which in turn will definitely reap benefits for your business. In order to boost SEO rankings, content marketers have to gain traffic and/or leads. This can be done by having plagiarism-free content on your blog or website.

 Useful and Actionable Content is Valuable

Applying learning in real life is essential. After reading your content, do your readers find it useful enough to apply it in real life? It’s simple. If you don’t have anything useful to say, don’t say it at all! Speaking your heart out doesn’t mean you add to the already burgeoning pool of not-so-useful content. When stuck in work, finding answers on Google is indeed the best and fastest solution. And that is exactly what readers look for when reading your content.  A headline catches your readers’ attention and they want to know more. Probably, they already have some queries and in quest of right answers they have landed up on your page. Now after reading all that you have written, if they don’t find actionable solutions, it’s likely possible those readers won’t come back to your page. And that is a big loss. Let’s also understand that readers want to find answers really fast. So its important to make content easy to read and understand so that people can quickly scan through all the essential points.

 Thought-Provoking Content Lasts Longer 

After the catchy headline, the introductory paragraph helps your reader decide whether to be with you in your journey. If reader finds the introduction engaging then they will likely read every word of your content with a hope they get to learn something new. It is essential to leave readers with questions and not spoon-feed everything so that they get an opportunity to reflect upon the knowledge you provided. Also consider structuring your content in a story form because in our childhood most of us loved listening to grandma stories. And some of these stories must be fresh in our minds till date. So why not try the same with your content? By the end of it do not forget to have a strong and thought provoking message in your content that compels the reader to think. Only then will your message linger like a piece of music in their minds.
